Volunteering in Malawi 


We are changing lives with our programmes and we want our volunteers to join us in this movement and become part of the Sparkle family.  

 

We don’t believe in voluntourism. We want to help enable you to help others. We want you to love Malawi and the people you meet as well as sharing your skills. We won’t pull the wool over your eyes or just give you things to do for the sake of it. You will get stuck in. You will live, breathe and work with our kids, staff and the local community. It won’t be easy, it won’t always be the ‘fun stuff’, but it will be real and you will make a difference.

My last visit was in 2019 when I was 16 years old, I’m now 20 and a lot has changed, but the feeling hasn’t. It’s always great to visit Sparkle and see what the work amounts to.
